Independent Film Streaming & Promotion Agreement

1. Parties and purpose

This agreement is between the person or organization submitting the audiovisual work (“Filmmaker”) and LOOK2SCREEN (“Platform”). It governs the Platform's limited right to review, host, stream, exhibit, and promote an accepted submission.

2. Ownership stays with the filmmaker

The Filmmaker keeps ownership of the film and related intellectual property. This agreement does not transfer copyright or ownership to LOOK2SCREEN.

3. Non-exclusive license

If LOOK2SCREEN accepts the submission for publication, the Filmmaker grants LOOK2SCREEN a non-exclusive license to host, reproduce as technically necessary for delivery, stream, publicly exhibit, display, and make the accepted film available through LOOK2SCREEN and its associated website or applications.

The license also permits LOOK2SCREEN to use the film title, synopsis, credits, poster, still images, trailer, short excerpts, and other submitted promotional materials to identify, market, advertise, and promote the film and LOOK2SCREEN.

4. Territory and term

The territory is the territory selected by the Filmmaker in the submission form. If no restriction is selected, the license is worldwide.

The license begins only when LOOK2SCREEN accepts and publishes the film. The Filmmaker may request removal. LOOK2SCREEN may also remove or suspend a title for rights concerns, policy violations, technical problems, legal requirements, or other reasonable platform reasons.

5. Rights and authority

The Filmmaker represents that they own or control the rights necessary to submit the work and grant the rights described here. This includes, as applicable, underlying story or screenplay rights, music, recordings, performances, artwork, footage, trademarks, locations, releases, and other third-party material.

LOOK2SCREEN may request chain-of-title documents, licenses, releases, or other evidence before publication. Submission of a film does not by itself prove that all rights have been cleared.

6. No guaranteed acceptance or payment

Submitting a film does not guarantee acceptance, publication, audience reach, licensing, distribution, payment, or any particular result. Any future revenue share, paid license, advertising arrangement, acquisition, or third-party distribution deal must be covered by a separate written agreement unless expressly stated otherwise.

7. Filmmaker control and other distribution

This is a non-exclusive arrangement. Unless the parties later sign a separate agreement, the Filmmaker remains free to distribute the film through other platforms and channels.

8. Content and compliance

The Filmmaker must comply with LOOK2SCREEN's submission rules and applicable law. The submission must not contain pornography or sexually explicit adult content as prohibited by the submission form. LOOK2SCREEN may reject or remove content that violates its policies or creates a legal or safety concern.

9. Removal requests

A Filmmaker may request removal of an accepted title by contacting LOOK2SCREEN through its published support channel. Removal requests are subject to any separate written agreement, legal obligation, or rights issue that requires continued availability for a limited period.

10. No agency relationship

This agreement does not make LOOK2SCREEN the Filmmaker's agent, manager, employee, partner, or legal representative. Neither party may bind the other unless separately authorized in writing.

11. Electronic acceptance

By checking the agreement acceptance box on the LOOK2SCREEN submission form and submitting the film, the Filmmaker electronically accepts this agreement and the version identified there. LOOK2SCREEN records the accepted version and acceptance time with the submission.
